Mantra
Employing a mantra; a word, phrase or sound that evokes mediative and peaceful thought, is a useful tool in building resilience. I invoke my mantras selectively and intuitively based upon the circumstances I am experiencing at the time.
I am asked, ” how do I create a mantra?” The answer is simple and complex. The complex part is delving into the essence of your inquiry to understand what you wish to achieve. This is where the work of conscious self-reflection comes in. However long it takes, once you identify your objective you will then more clearly be able to articulate a mantra as it will manifest simply from your deep inquiry. For those who need a more concrete plan:
1) Think about the issue or situation with deep reflection;
2) Identify what you wish to achieve;
3) Work through negative thoughts and impasses;
4) Create in your mind a word, phrase or sound that inspires you towards your purpose.
Here is a mantra I created today:
Power of Darkness
Power of Light
Here I Come
With All My Might!
